About Us Prairie Acres Kennels is owned and operated by Sheila Gulbrandson of Polk, Nebraska. My husband, Larry and son,Gordon share in loving the various animals on our farm. We have cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, birds, and of course, our dogs. We proudly raise and sell puppies with health guarantees and excellent temperaments. Our puppies are born in our home surrounded with love and attention. They can leave at 8 weeks of age. By this time they will have had their first vaccination, been fully weaned and eating dry food.

We specialize in German Shepherds and Great Pyrenees. Our dogs are highly intelligent with great personalities, love, and devotion. Confident and loyal best describe them. We have AKC and APRI registered German Shepherds from quality OFA/Penn-Hip lines with various Titles. These breeds make perfect family pets and companions that can do whatever their job may be.
